Classic Car Show, Health Expo Returning

The Morton Grove Economic Development Commission has plans for these events and others to further business in Morton Grove.

Morton Grove will hold classic car shows this summer, as well as a Health and Fitness Expo.

David Lewis, chair of the village's Economic Development Commission, made that announcement last week at the village board meeting.

The commission met Feb. 6, again on Feb. 18, and will next meet March 18 at Morton Grove Village Hall. Interested persons are welcome to attend, Lewis said.

Plans for the Health and Fitness expo call for any Morton Grove business involved with health and the maintenance and appearance of the human body and spirit to participate, he said.

The classic car shows, which were held last year on several dates at Prairie View Plaza, will be complemented by Nicky Nolo's and Culver's as vendors, Lewis said.

He also noted that the busines profiles in the Morton Grove exchange newsletter are entering their fourth year.

"We are continuing to work with Comcast to promote Morton Grove businesses," he said.
