Earn $170 As An Election Judge In Niles

You'll have to complete training, assist with set-up and work Election Day.

The Cook County Clerk's office needs more people to work in Niles precincts on Election Day, Tuesday, April 5.

“This is an opportunity to serve your community, help democracy work and earn a bit of money,” Clerk David Orr said.

Election judges open the polls at 6 a.m., check voters' identification, hand out ballots, collect ballots, answer voters' questions and close the polls at 7 p.m. They're the county's primary means of running the polls in an orderly fashion and making sure votes are counted fairly, honestly and accurately.
