Medication Take Back Day

Do you have expired, unused or unwanted medications in your medicine cabinet?

Dispose of them safely on Saturday, April 28th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Des Plaines, Niles or Park Ridge Police Stations. Drop off prescription and over-the-counter medications in their original containers. Do NOT remove labels. Personal information (name, address, doctor) should be crossed out, but information about the medication should be legible.

Protect your family and our environment! Removing medications from the home helps reduce access for young people, eliminate abuse, and keep our water supply clean from improper disposal.
