Former Niles Driver's License Facility Moving To Des Plaines
The new driver's license facility will offer road tests, driver's license renewals, license plate stickers and more. It will be full-service.
After an Illinois Secretary of State driver's license facility in Niles was closed a few months ago, a new facility will open in Des Plaines in late October.
Dave Druker, a spokesman for the Illinois Secretary of State's office, said the new facility will open in a shopping center at 1500 Lee Street, just north of Oakton Street.
It will be a full-service facility and offer the same services the old facility offered, including road tests.
Earlier: Niles Driver's License Office To Close
The former driver's license facility in Niles was located in Four Flaggs Shopping Center, at the southeast corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Golf Road. A store named Five Below, which sells items for five dollars and less, moved into the space Aug. 1.
