After two years in court, a water dispute between Glenview and Niles could be resolved soon, if both parties agree to a deal where Niles receives more than $5.5 million and Glenview takes $500,000 and sees a price drop for Niles water, the Journal & Topics reports.

There wasn’t an interest in carrying on (the lawsuit)," Niles Village Manager Steve Vinezeano told the Journal. "Both Niles and Glenview need to move on and tackle bigger issues. I look forward to working with Glenview on other issues.”
