Niles Gets Assistant Village Manager
She formerly worked as assistant to the city manager in Sterling, Ill.
Hadley Skeffington-Vos started Wednesday as the Village of Niles' Assistant Village Manager. Steve Vinezeano, who formerly filled that position, was promoted to village manager earlier this year by the village board.
Vinezeano released the following bio of Skeffington-Vos.
Hadley Skeffington-Vos comes to the Village of Niles with strong management, analysis, and financial skills. She most recently worked as the Assistant to the City Manager in Sterling, IL. While there, Hadley oversaw the redevelopment of the downtown movie theater, Tree City USA designation, the City’s website redevelopment, and community events such as Movies at Grandon and Clean & Green. Hadley worked on the City’s annual budget and assumed HR duties. Prior to Sterling, Hadley worked for the State of Kansas in the Aviation Division.
Hadley received her BA from Lake Forest College Cum Laude with honors in International Relations and a minor in economics and her MPA from the University of Kansas. Hadley is a member of the International City/County Management Association and the Illinois City/County Managers Association.
