Niles Prepping To Avert Flooding During Weekend Thaw

Temperatures are forecast to rise to around 40 ℉, leading to fears snow will melt and cause flooding.

With rain in the weekend forecast and temperatures expected to rise to as high as 43 ℉ by Sunday, the National Weather Service cautions there could be flooding this weekend.

"I do not see capacity as a problem for our storm sewers, but you never know," he wrote in an email to Patch.com.
