Niles Sets Agenda For Village Meeting Tonight
Village Manager's Goals, Transfer Tax, Liquor Commission, Beautification and Golf Mill Renovation, among other things, will be discussed.
The public may attend a 6:30 p.m. pre-board meeting tonight, as well as the regular 8 p.m. meeting.
During the pre-board meeting, information will be presented about the village manager's goals, the liquor commission and a proposed renovation to Golf Mill Shopping Center.
The regular meeting will entail a proposal to rename a portion of Milwaukee Avenue in honor of artist/sculptor Wojciech Seweryn, streetscape improvements, purchasing equipment for the fire department, developing a Golf Mill business district, bid awards for a police department generator and other items.
