We have been involved with our community at many levels over many years, including serving on the village board, and seeing many people run for office.  But this time is different as we’ll have to vote twice in an unnecessary primary and again this April.

In our opinion, Dan Staackmann is the person who deserves all our votes because of his proven record of leadership, service and experience.

Those who serve the public need another attribute, they need integrity! Mayor Staackmann has demonstrated that he has this quality in abundance.  Leading a village in these most challenging economic times isn’t easy.  Tough choices have to be made so our entire community benefits.

Really take a look around you today at our hometown.  There are rebuilt streets, new businesses, improved village services, balanced budgets, better credit ratings and national awards recognizing our community-oriented and diverse village.  There is only one true man of “action” who is putting the best interests of the community first running in the primary on February 26.  We encourage you to support and vote for Mayor Daniel J. Staackmann.
