Village Administrator Resigns After 6 Years

Joseph F. Wade announced his resignation from the village today.

Village Administrator Joseph F. Wade announced today he is resigning from the . 

Wade served as administrator for six years and during that time he played an important role in the Dempster Street improvements, upgrading Morton Grove's bond rating as well as . 

“I have truly enjoyed my service with the Village of Morton Grove, but feel it is time to move on," said Wade in a Village press release. "I wish the Village the best of success in all endeavors.”

His appointment expires at the end of this year, according to the press release. Mayor Dan Staackman wished him well and thanked him for his service.

“Joe is a true professional and I have enjoyed working with him,” said Staackman in the press release.

The Village of Morton Grove expects to begin a recruitment and selection process for Wade’s replacement immediately.
