Is America becoming Socialist?

Is America's slide into Socialism occuring by design? Lets consider some of our President's actions:

First, his incessant pursuit of tax increases accompanied by unmetigated spending which kills individual endeavor and selfesteem and creates a sense of entitlement;

Second, his reluctance to tap domestic sources of energy;

Third, his endorsement of federal regulations that have led to considerable unemployment and uncertainty in the private sector;

Fourth, his inattention to unemployment during his first term which is now estimated at 7.7%, and it is almost twice that much when we include those who have stopped looking for work. At a time when he should have delt with the growing unemployment crisis, he devoted his focus to Obama Care;

Fifth,  Noiw he has, in his arsonal, the sequester. He predicted his catastrophic plans and we must remember that he runs the federal agencies that can make those catastrophies happen. He can coordinate government employee furloughs, long lines at the airports, etc;

Sixth, He continues to try and divide the nation by alleging that most of our problems are caused by millionaires and billionaires who want their yachts and corporate jets and again his primary focus is on taxing and spending.

I believe many of the elements of socialism and other forms of centralized government are present in this man's actions.
