For Your Information.

On April 10th, our State Senate passed SB3411 which abolishes traffic ticket quota's. In addition police departments will not be allowed to evaluate officer's performance based on the number of tickets they issue.
The bill now goes to the House for action. Many of the police unions support this bill and I will be interested to see how it will  affect officer's court overtime income.
This policy will not prevent management from assigning officers to aggressively
enforce traffic violations occurring on residential streets and school zones.
