Learn the Science Behind the Strong Mind Puzzles App

Donalee Markus, Ph.D., of Designs For Strong MindsTM, will speak about the science behind her iPhone and iPad Strong Mind Puzzles app in a Kinetic Konnections event on Tuesday, May 3rd at 7 P.M. The event, which will be held at the Kinetic Konnections office at 1420 Renaissance Drive, Suite 308, Park Ridge, IL, will detail Dr. Markus’s intelligence-maximizing tactics, for which she has developed game-like, content-free exercises to filter out emotional influences, which allow participants to work solely on skills. Dr. Markus has discovered that most people play to their strengths, avoiding situations where they need to use skills with which they are less comfortable. The Strong Mind Puzzles app was designed with the belief that we can all increase our concentration and memory, improve decision making and abstract thinking, and become more mindful by building and exercising our mental muscles. The $10 fee for the event will be donated to Between Friends, a Chicago-based domestic violence advocacy organization. Please register by calling 847-390-8348.
