Maine East High School Prom Fashion Show

With prom season approaching, prom fashions will be on display as Maine East High School hosts its annual Prom Fashion Show and Dessert Buffet on Saturday, April 16.

The school’s Junior Class Council will be hosting the show, which will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m in the student café.

 “Our hope is that students and parents will see what styles are popular this year and that they gain useful information about where prom attire is available,” said Maine East Junior Class Council sponsor Dale Lasky.  He added that David’s Bridal and DEB in Golf Mill have provided prom dresses for the event, while Savvi Formalwear on Milwaukee Avenue was able to help out by lending tuxedos.

Attendees will be served coffee and delicious desserts catered by local restaurants and bakeries.  Student musical groups will provide entertainment.

Tickets for the event cost $5 in advance or $8 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Dale Lasky at 847.692.8346.
