Niles West Senior Named All-State Academic

Math whiz Patrick Liscio not only tops the charts--nationally--for his prowess in math, he also devotes lots of time to tutoring other students.

Patrick Liscio not only received a perfect score on his ACT test and finished #10 in the nation on a mathematics exam, he's a top tutor at Niles West High School, the Chicago Tribune said as they named him to their All-Academic Team.

As such, he ranks as one of 10 students in the state honored not just for their smarts, but because they've distinguished themselves in other ways.
