Niles West Students Earn Medals at WYSE Competition

Patrick Liscio won first place in mathematics at the Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering state competition.

 

Several Niles West High School students took home medals at the Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering state competition, Niles West News reports.

Patrick Liscio earned first place in mathematics and fourth in chemistry. Joe Darga placed sixth in physics and Zach Cohen earned fourth place in biology. The competition took place on April 8 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the newspaper reports.
