Skokie-Morton Grove School District 69 will have an open board meeting on Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Many residents who will be attending are planning on voicing their concerns over the recent Halloween ban issued within the district's three schools: Edison, Madison and Lincoln Junior High.
The meeting will be at the Multi-Purpose Room,
Following Patch's story on District 69's Halloween ban, Superintendent Quintin Shepherd said he is now open to feedback from the community. Meanwhile, parents have started a petition to reinstate Halloween.
