Update: District 67's Bids for Kids Raises $14,600

The PTA raises money for the school district in its first dinner event, Bids for Kids.

Going once, going twice, and sold! With donations, tickets and gift baskets added up, the grand total raised for the PTA's "Bids for Kids" auction rang up at $14,600, according to PTA member Kristina Otte.

Last Saturday, more than 150 members of the Morton Grove community came out to support Golf School District 67 in the PTA’s first ever “Bids for Kids” auction event, where food, drinks and bidding paddles decorated the Morton Grove Civic Center.

"This was way beyond even our wildest dreams, especially for a first-time event," said Otte. "We're very excited to be able to help the two schools, and we want to get our thanks out to the community at large."
