Whiz Kid: Catherine Cwieka Named "207's Best" for April
4.8 GPA and five AP classes put this Whiz Kid and Morton Grove resident into a top spot for recognition with the school district.

○ Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Catherine was chosen as one of three students for the month of April's "207's Best," as determined by teachers and an executive committee. The Morton Grove resident has a 4.8 GPA and is currently ranked second in a class of 454 students at Maine East. Besides taking five AP courses, she is also one of five students in the district to be named a National Merit Finalist this year. She hopes to attend Northwestern University and study biology or chemistry.
