Park Ridge Art Heritage Tours

Art Heritage Tours highlighting the artistic legacy of Park Ridge will be offered the last weekend of the month from beginning Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26 and continuing through September 25 courtesy of the Summit of Uptown which is providing transportation.  Net proceeds of the tours will benefit the Park Ridge Community Fund and the Kalo Foundation.

Reservations are required and may be made by calling The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce at 847.825-3121.  Tickets are $15 person.  Space is limited.  The two-hour tours will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and depart from The Summit of Uptown.

The tours, which will highlight the legacy of Alfonso Iannelli whose studio was integral to the roots of American modernism, will cover the larger narrative of the artists’ colony that flourished in Park Ridge at the turn of the 20th Century and beyond.   Custom tours for organizations may also be arranged.
