NHL Star and Park Ridge Native Craig Anderson Sprains Ankle

The Ottawa Senators goalie was injured in the Feb. 21 game against the New York Rangers, the Associated Press reports.

 

Ottawa Senators goalie and Park Ridge native Craig Anderson sprained his ankle in yesterday’s game against the New York Rangers, the Associated Press reports.

Rangers forward Chris Kreider was tripped in the third period and slid into Anderson who had to later be helped into the locker room. The goalie is currently tops in the NHL for goals-against average and save percentage, the AP reports.

Anderson took to his Twitter account (@CraigAnderson41) to update fans on his condition.

“My ankle’s gonna be ok, be back ASAP,” he wrote.
