Niles West's Nick Brummitt Named 'Defenseman of the Year'
The all-star hockey player was given the honor by the Illinois Suburban Hockey League, Niles West News reports.
Niles West High School student Nick Brummitt has been given a high title by the Illinois Suburban Hockey League, Niles West News reports.
Brummitt, a member of the Nighthawks team, has been named Defenseman of the Year in the Central Hull East JV Division. He beat out players from nearby Maine South and Evanston Township for the honor, and was very surprised that he won, he tells Niles West News.
