Pet Blessings for St. Francis Day

Fr. Tom Atamian of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Glenview pronounces a blessing on Bentley Gaumer during the church’s 2012 St. Francis Day event. This year’s pet blessing will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 2pm in the church parking lot at 2410 Glenview Rd. All pet-owners are welcome to bring their pets leashed or in cage or carrier. A free photo of each pet being blessed will be taken and e-mailed to interested owners. In addition, there will be goody bags for the dogs and cats and an Oktoberfest celebration for the family to enjoy with supervised children’s activities and complimentary refreshments.
