Though it rained Wednesday evening and dismal gray skies hung over Maine East High School's field, that didn't matter once the fireworks show began.
The show, attended by Park Ridge and Niles residents, went off without a hitch. Check out the photos and video to get an idea.
The fireworks were sponsored by the Park Ridge Park District, Maine Township High School District 207 and the City of Park Ridge.
