Niles Summer Concerts Start Tonight

Ready to play? Dance? Or just listen to some good music?

Niles is starting its Concert in the Park series tonight, July 13, with penny carnival night and the band The Associates. Families can bring pennies, let the kids play old-fashioned games, such as ring toss, and win prizes. 

Like all the concerts, it will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in  at Ottawa and Main Streets, (south of Dempster and east of Milwaukee Avrnue), Niles.

Penny Carnival Night

Listen to The Associates, a Motown and variety band.  Children can play a wide variety of penny carnival games created by Niles Park District campers.  Bring pennies, visit the many games and win prizes.

Friday, July 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Vehicle Adventure & The Juke Box Band
The Juke Box Band will play anything from pop to classic rock, blues, country & jazz.  Kids can take a look at or sit in Niles Park District & Village of Niles large vehicles--like fire trucks. 

Friday, July 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Down Home Family Fun

It's a country-themed night, and children can take a pony and tractor pulled wagon ride and enjoy the petting farm. The White Saddle Band will play country & musical favorites. 

Friday, August 3, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Party in the Park & Sting Rays

Face painting & a balloon artist will keep children entertained, while The Sting Rays will fill the park with a variety of favorite music from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s popular hits.

Friday, August 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The Juke Box Band

The Juke Box Band can play virtually any pop tune and shift easily to classic rock, blues, country, jazz, etc.  

Friday, August 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

BBI

BBI can take you back to the 70’s and 80’s with their music and hits.
