Pools Open This Weekend! Yippee!

Niles, Morton Grove and Park Ridge Park Districts are opening some of their pools today.

Rejoice, water lovers! The outdoor swimming pools are opening this Memorial Day weekend--at least some of them. Here's hoping the weather cooperates.

Following are the pools which open this weekend. Additional pools will open next weekend.

, 9200 Oriole, Morton Grove. Open noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. Monday.

, 7877 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles. Pre-season hours May 26-28 and June 2 and 3 are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Park Ridge Park District (which includes about one-fourth of Niles):

South Park Pool, Devon and Cumberland, Park Ridge, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday an 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Memorial Day.
Centennial Pool, Touhy and Western, Park Ridge, from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and noon to 6 p.m. Memorial Day.
