The bakers at in Niles are selling a variety of treats Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The church is located at 7373 N. Caldwell Ave., Niles. (847) 647-8880.

At Church, 7313 N. Waukegan Road, Niles, cooks will gather Friday to make pirohi, a filled dumpling that some know better by its Polish name, pierogi. They'll be selling them for $6 a dozen ($7 for cheese) from noon to 1 p.m. that day. If you can't make that time, call the church at (847) 647-8398 to arrange a time to pick some up.

Pirohi and Fish Dinner April 17
St. Michael's is having a Pirohi and Fish Dinner Sunday at 11:45 a.m., following its 10 a.m. Palm Sunday service. The public is invited.
