Pet of the Week: Beethoven

Beethoven is a fantastic little dog!  When he came to Chicago Canine Rescue, he was in pretty rough shape.  His fur was so matted we could hardly see his face.  In spite of this, he allowed us to shave him down without much of a fuss at all.  He just seemed grateful to be able to move without the pain of the matted fur pulling on his skin!

Now his skin has healed, his fur is growing back, and he's ready to find a family that will give him the love and care that he deserves!  He will certainly need regular grooming to maintain his handsome good looks.  A plush bed to sleep in would be good, too!  He is a sweet and patient boy and he should easily fit into a home.

He is vaccinated, heartworm checked, microchipped and neutered.
