Pet of the Week: Hoss
Each week, we spotlight an exceptional pet available for adoption from a local rescue.
Everyone's first reaction to Hoss is, "Awww, what a sweetheart!" because he is such a snuggly, loving guy! Just one look at those soulful brown eyes and I was hooked! Hoss was transferred to Chicago Canine Rescue from a high kill shelter because the people there saw what a gem he was. So now that he is safe, we can focus on finding just the right family for little Hoss.
At around a year old, Hoss is pretty mellow for his age. He is very tolerant of everything we have done to him (vaccines, blood draws, and such). He is a very patient boy. I sure would love to have him as one of my patients at Morton Grove Animal Hospital!
Hoss is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

And if you are not ready to commit to bringing a dog into your home permanently, consider fostering or volunteering to come walk the dogs. Going on walks is great for them and for you, too!
