Lower Your Property Taxes With Assessor This Week
Lots of important stuff happening this week, including a chance to meet a Cook County official who can lower your property taxes, and a chance to speak up on video gaming.
- Want to lower your property tax bill which will be due in August? Come to a workshop Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Skokie Public Library. Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, Board of Review Commissioner Michael Cabonargi and Niles Township Assessor Scott Bagnall are hosting a property tax appeals seminar.
- Do you want video gaming in Niles? There's a meeting of the Video Gaming Commission Monday at 6 p.m. They'll hear testimony from various groups for and against video gambling.
- AND, there's a chance for the public to give their opinions on video gaming Wednesday at 6 p.m.
- Kids can meet Cade Fairchild of the Chicago Wolves and participate in the Morton Grove Library's Winter Reading Program Wednesday.
