I had taken my old french clock to 2 other shops in Skokie and was told I needed an overhaul. Each had estimated between 550 and 600 dollars, which I thought was outrageous. At one of the shops the owner was totally rude. A friend suggested the Antique Clock Shop in Morton Grove that had serviced his grandfather clock for years.

I took my clock in for an estimate and was surprised to find out the clock only needed to be oiled and the beat adjusted at a cost of only $135, so I agreed. When I picked up the clock 2 weeks later, the owner
explained how I should set the clock up at home. It has kept perfect time for the past year. I highly recommend this place.

Even if you don't own a clock, check this place out. It's like walking through a time museum with many beautiful clocks...and the owner is one of the nicest guys I've met.
