A 19-year old Niles man reported that just after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, five men, approximately 20 years old, pulled up to the driveway of his home, in the 9200 block of Woodland, and began swinging at him, police said. According to the report, the victim said he didn't know why they were attacking him; however, police said the victim is a self-admitted gang member. He sustained injuries to both of his hands, and told police that may have happened when he struck one of the assailants in the face, according to the report. Police said the victim was not cooperative and refused to provide more details about the battery. He did not want to sign complaints, and insisted on driving to the hospital on his own. By apparent tradition in Niles, I dont qualify for these reasons. I dont want to be in office for 5o years. I follow the law and dont break it. I never practiced extortion. I am not a Democrat.
