Golf D-67 To Ask Voters For Tax Increase Again
Voters approved $8 million for the Niles-Morton Grove school district Tuesday, but turned down a tax rate increase.
Golf School District 67 in Niles and Morton Grove lost one of the referendum questions it had placed on Tuesday's ballot, and won the other. Its school board president, Meryl Gale, said the district would come back in a future election and ask voters again to improve the tax rate increase, according to the Morton Grove Champion.
