One Dead, Two Injured in Robbery, Crash

Three suspects are believed to be tied to several robberies in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

  UPDATE: The Lake County Cororner identified Paris D. Williams of Rockford as the deceased victim in the crash. Williams was pronounced dead a the scene at 1:30 a.m. on July 16. ORIGINAL STORY: One person is dead, two others critically injured after a gas station robbery turned police chase late Sunday in Antioch. The Antioch Police Department said three suspects entered the Bernie's Marathon Gas Station at 830 Main Street in Antioch around 9:20 Sunday evening armed with a silver semi-automatic pistol. Police say the suspects pepper sprayed the clerk while holding her at gun point and demanded money.
