Harasser Sends Nasty Videos To Woman's Phone, Police Say

The woman was concerned because the offender knew her first name., and the videos were highly inappropriate. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.

  on Jan. 24, a 29-year-old Niles woman began receiving video text messages on her phone from an unknown person. The person sent eight videos, all of which were pornographic. The sender addressed the victim by her first name, causing her alarm. On the 24th, the woman texted the harasser a message telling him to stop contacting her, but the messages continued. On Jan. 26, the offender phoned the woman, just after 8:30 a.m. and again just after 9:30 a.m., but said nothing. The woman told him to stop contacting her. Police left the offender a message telling him to stop contacting the woman. They also asked him to call the Niles Police Department.  Police advised the woman to have her mobile phone provider block the offender's phone number. …
