Three Home Burglaries; Lock Your Doors

Niles Police are asking residents to lock their doors and exercise caution.

Three home burglaries took place Monday in Niles, Niles Police said Tuesday. One occurred at a home under construction in the 7200 block of Greenleaf. The other two were in the 7500 block of Main and the 8300 block of Olcott. Niles police are investigating the incidents, and urge residents to lock the doors of their homes at all times, even if you will only be gone for a short time. Crime prevention tips include: leaving lights on while you are gone, making sure garages are locked, getting deadbolt locks for exterior doors, getting adequate protection for sliding glass doors, installing exterior motion sensor lights, and more, according to the Memphis Police Department.   Like Niles-Morton Grove Patch on Facebook Get Niles and Morton …
