A pediatric nurse explains what the Duchess of Cambridge is going through; a local baby shop owner tells what parents usually shop for at the 12-week stage of pregnancy.
Hyperemesis gravidarum. It sounds like a spell from "Harry Potter." Or maybe that just came to mind because the series is as British as the person suffering from this health condition--the Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a. the former Kate Middleton. Now she'll be able to add a new title: Mom. Britain's royal palace announced the news that she and the husband Duke of Cambridge, also known as Prince William and, alternately, the eldest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, are expecting, according to the New York Times. I've been so completely focused on my own wedding," said Melissa Stancy, who will marry Michael Scaletta at St. John Brebeuf Church in Niles on June 4. "It just doesn't spike my interest, maybe…

We've got at least another six months of this royal pregnancy which is already descending into farce with the mother-to-be in hospital with morning sickness ~ for heaven's sake. This pantomime will create a very convenient smokescreen to divert public attention away from more important worldwide news. God save us from the Establishment and the royals!   more ›
