The village of Niles has decided to fight a court order that would reinstate Fotis Markadas to his job as a police officer. A waitress had accused Markadas of sexually assaulting her in January 2010, according to news sources. She told police that while he was off-duty, he assaulted her at the bar where she worked. She did not file criminal charges. BTW, I would hope that the customer who walked into the store is recognized for his bravery as well...not knowing if he was following someone with a weapon or not. We ALL need to step up and help someone in need. Regardless   more ›
