Dajuan Blackwell, 21, of Des Plaines was charged with Class 3 felony retail theft and Treyvon Dean, 19, of Evanston was also charged with Class 3 felony retail theft after a security agent for a store in the 8500 block of Golf Road phoned police Feb. 21 just before 12:30 a.m. Store security agents had approached and tried to stop a man later identified as Dean when they observed him wheeling a 55-inch TV out of the store and into the parking lot without paying for it, according to the report. When the agents confronted him in the parking lot, he abandoned the TV and got into a silver minivan, which exited the parking lot.
