Marko Bojkovic, 27, of Niles was charged with battery Sept. 14 at about 9 p.m. after a scuffle in the 7300 block of Lill Street with his wife's former husband, according to police. The former husband had arrived for child visitation, and had just pulled up in his car when, he told police, Bojkovic reached into his car window and punched him in the eye, according to the police report. The former husband stuck a leg out the window attempting to kick Bojkovic, who grabbed his shoe, according to the report. Police observed red marks on the ex-husband's left eye, left leg and right hand, the report said. A 37-year-old woman reported to Niles Police Friday that the sister of her live-in boyfriend has sent her threatening messages on Facebook. The woman, who lives on Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, said she and the sister never got along well, but the situation has deteriorated because she is asking her boyfriend to move out of her apartment. The sister's friend posted a message stating, "You know I will break a b****, I mean warden face with one punch!" Warden is a name the sister and her friend have used to describe the 37-year-old victim. The sister responded to that and a similar message with "I just might want you to break the b**** in two because I know you ain't got no problems with doing it. A Niles collection agency on Howard Street was in the process of trying to collect a debt of $2,769 from an individual when it received a threatening letter from that person on Dec. 14. The letter said, "You can run but you can't hide. I will track you down all over the globe, you are wanted dead or alive." The agency wanted a police report filed as a matter of record.
