Viking Girls Gymnastics Take 3rd In State

And it's only the third year for the program, for girls ages 8 to 13. The program is based at Niles North High School.

  In mid-April, the Viking Gymnastics Clubs Girls’ Team competed fabulously in the AAU State Meet in Loves Park, IL.  In addition to the many individual medals the girls received, their Level 5 competitors finished third place out of 18 teams and their Level 6 team took fourth place!  This is a great achievement, especially because Viking Gymnastics is such a new club; this is only their third year competing AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) and their first year competing USAG (United States of America Gymnastics).  Earlier: A Niles North Gymnastics Star Viking Gymnastics Club is homed in the gymnastics gym at Niles North High School in Skokie.  The program was originally developed as a feeder team for the high school, but now has grown to over…
