Cold weather led to the death of a Rogers Park man in Skokie on Saturday. Luis M. Escalante was pronounced dead around 4 p.m. that day, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said today. The 53-year-old was found in a park in the 3200 block of Oakton Street, or near the Skokie Sports Park at McCormick Boulevard and Oakton Street.
