Teens Charged With Marijuana Felonies
Two 19-year-olds and a minor were taken into custody on charges involving cannabis and fake ID. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.
Justin Czerwionka, 19, of Park Ridge was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class 4 felony, and unlawful delivery of cannabis, a Class 3 felony. Joseph Nelson, 19, of Park Ridge was charged with possessing a fraudulent driver's license, a Class 4 felony, A 17-year-old juvenile male was charged with possession of cannabis and obstructing a peace officer. All the charges were brought after a Friday incident, just after 7:30 p.m., after police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7300 block of Dempster. The 17-year-old ran from the vehicle after police stopped it, according to the report,but police followed him to a business in the 7200 block of Dempster, where he sat down on a chair.
