Among other crime, an armed robber who has become known as the "hair salon bandit" displayed a gun in a salon robbery. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.

Retail Theft: Keith Richardson, 48, of Chicago was issued a local ordinance ticket for retail theft Feb. 3 after he was seen on camera at Menards, 6301 Oakton St., placing drill bits under the child seat in a shopping car and leaving the store without paying for them, police said.
