Arrests Javier, Castrejon, 24, and Jason Khim, 24, both of Chicago, were arrested by police on Aug. 1 in the 8700 block of Waukegan Rd. Police first made a traffic stop and discovered cannabis in the vehicle the two subjects were driving in, which was packaged for sale. Both Castrejon and Khim were charged with possession of controlled substance and posssession of cannabis with intent to deliver. A court date is scheduled for Sept. 4. Leslie Robinson, 25, of Rockford, was stopped by police for a traffic violation on Aug. 2 in the 6900 block of Dempster and was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Arrests Brandon L. Godla, 26, and Elton A. Jacobson, 21, both of Morton Grove were apprehended by police on July 26 due to a report of a possible drug deal in progress in the 7900 block of Foster Avenue. Police stopped the vehicle involved and found drug paraphernalia, cannabis, and a Xanax pill. Godla was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Jacobson charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. No court date(s) were provided by police. James R.
