Ashlelle Miller, 30, of Skokie was charged with retail theft April 30 at a Golf Mill Shopping Center store. A security agent said she concealed clothing items and exited the store without paying, according to the report. Her court date is May 29 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts. Man charged with driving without a license Rosalio Torres, 32, of Chicago was charged with driving without a driver's license after police observed his black Honda Civic drive through a red light on Milwaukee Avenue and Harlem on April 30 just after 4 p.m., according to the report. He screamed 'Tase me, tase me!' when police arrived.
Police responded to a report of domestic battery on the 7600 block of Neva Ave., Niles, July 26, according to a police report. When the responding officer arrived on the scene he observed the offender, Christopher L. Phillips, 20, of Chicago, running out of the residence in a reckless demeanor, screaming “Tase me, tase me!” The officer requested backup units, and when other officers arrived the offender was handcuffed for his safety and the safety of others on the scene. One independent contractor punched another independent contractor in the face.
Dispute Police responded to a report of dispute on the 8000 block of Milwaukee Ave. July 27, according to a police report. The victim, a 22-year-old female from Niles, told police she became involved in verbal disputes over text messages with the offender, a 34-year-old female from Niles. It escalated to a pushing match and both received scratches. Both parties declined medical attention, and the victim did not wish to sign complaints. Identity theft A 23-year-old male from Niles reported identity theft to police July 27, according to a police report.
