Casey, thank you for your comment. It was an honor to volunteer on the library board, all be it a short period. I will still be volunteering at the library as I have for the past 7 years. If you have a chance you may want to go to a board meeting, the second Thursday evening of the month, 7pm. You may also want to join the Friends of the Morton Grove Public Library, a great group that could really use some help.

Hi Elaine. Pleasure for me too! I hope we do run into each other. I is a pleasure reading your common sense, fact based posts. I also had to leave early to get me son from a sitters.
I have never posted on a board before and am surprised at my reaction to this entire debate, but the library is one of my favorite places to spend time and is important enough for me to find "my voice". See ya soon!

Casey, it was a pleasure meeting you tonight. Sorry we couldn't talk more, I had to get my kids to bed! Maybe we will run into each other at the library again sometime?
By the way, I have never used "the board" before, so I have no idea if this is a public or private comment. That is the reason I am not providing any contact information at this time. :)
