Congratulations to all the candidates, both Republicans and Democrats, that participated in the 2012 elections!

Let's all come together now and make Illinois the greatest
state in America! Let us not look back but look forward to tomorrow. Yesterday is but a memory and tomorrow is being made right here and now by what we say, do and dream.

A simple "thank you" will never fully express my gratitude
that I have for all my volunteers. I'm so proud and appreciative of you all and I am honored that all my volunteers consisted of every culture, faith and background imaginable, which is a true reflection of America.

We made history by overcoming so many obstacles this election year of 2012. We ran for the public office the just and honest way that we can be proud of. We refused monetary campaign contributions and unconditionally did not endorse Super-PACs by inaction or participation. Unfortunately my fight began by trying to exercise my right as a citizen to run for public office and appear on the ballot, but nevertheless my journey will continue.

We lost this election for all the right reasons. We proved ordinary citizens can participate in the democratic process.
