About Seth
I'm a storyteller, not because I crave fame and success, but because it is the storyteller's privilege to chronicle, to uplift, to labor alongside others. It is the storyteller’s honor to help remember the blood and the mud and the tears and the triumphs that have come before.
I'm currently freelancing from Chicago. It was 2005 when I earned my first newspaper money: $10 for a short profile of a high school swimmer. Since then, I've worked, written and photographed for The Kansas City Star, Ink Magazine, the Good Men Project Magazine, the Columbus (Miss.) Commercial Dispatch, Vox Magazine, the Columbia Missourian and the Joplin Globe.

Hi Seth - My daughter was the one attacked by Sykes. She managed to ride her bike home and was crying hysterically. She was absolutely terrified. We called the DP police and they caught the guy within 20 minutes. I was very impressed with the DP police department's professionalism. We will be attending the court date and are pressing charges. Being drunk is one thing. Attacking an innocent child is quite another. Thanks for reporting on this.
