Sofia Resnick is a freelance urban reporter based in Chicago. She moved to the City of Broad Shoulders two years ago from Austin, Texas, where she worked for The Austin Chronicle and edited an online alternative teen-girl magazine that she co-founded, PaperDollsMag.com. Sofia graduated from the master's program at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in June 2010, where she specialized in in-depth reporting and long-form writing. Her goal in life is to make invisible communities visible.
